Early Career Framework
Teachers deserve high-quality support throughout their careers, particularly in those first years after ITT when the learning curve is steepest. The DfE’s Early Career Framework (ECF) reform entitles all early career teachers (ECTs) to a fully-funded, two-year package of structured training and support linked to the best available research evidence.
North-West London Teaching School Hub has partnered with Ambition Institute to deliver the ECF programme.
Throughout the ECF programme, early career teachers will learn:
The content of the early career framework, including behaviour, instruction, curriculum assessment and self-regulation
What effective teaching looks like, putting them on the path to becoming an expert in teaching
How to keep getting better, so they can continue to improve their careers
For the school, benefits include:
Improved wellbeing and job satisfaction of the ECTS
Attract and retain staff
A two-year package of support
